On May 10th, Yard 1 teamed up with FH Paschen Concrete Contractor and Prairie Material to deliver concrete for a complex bridge deck project located on Canal Street between Adams and Jackson, directly above Union Station.

- Two Putzmeister 63M booms
- One Schwing 20M boom
- 400 feet of Con Forms slickline and 5″ hoses
- Three Somero Line Dragon Placers
- Timeline:
- Onsite at 3:30 AM, pour began at 5:00 AM
- The 63M pumps ran for approximately 13 hours
- The 20M Schwing wrapped up around 12:00 PM
Overcoming Challenges:
This bridge deck pour presented unique challenges, including limited access to the center of the deck. With no room to place a pump in the middle, Yard 1 smartly deployed Line Dragon Placers to extend reach. The concrete mix required high pressure pumping all day, and both the Con Forms slickline and pumps performed flawlessly.
