Nothing says “summer” better than a little baseball. Our team members and families enjoyed the game at the home of the Lakeshore Chinooks in Mequon, WI. The Chinooks play in the The Northwoods League, a collegiate summer league. The league is amateur and players are not paid, in order to maintain their college eligibility.
They play on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. There was an inflatable playground for the kids and a tent with burgers and hot dogs protected our group from both the sun and foul balls.
The Chinooks went ahead in the early innings and held on to defeat the Madison Mallards 8-5.
