AVON SAFETY HOSE

CONCRETE PLACEMENT BOOM END HOSE

WHIP REDUCING.
NO SHOCKS OR VIBRATIONS.
OPTIMAL STABILITY.
PREVENTS ACCIDENTS.

The Avon Safety Hose is a concrete placement boom end hose used on truck and mobile pumps at casting locations. It facilitates work by absorbing shocks and vibrations, making concrete pumping operations safer while guaranteeing high abrasion resistance.

HOW IT WORKS

During use, hoses can behave in unpredictable ways. For instance, the sudden release of clogged material or the presence of air in the pipes can cause significant lateral bending and dangerous vibrations that result in whiplash. The Avon Safety Hose is specially designed to considerably reduce whiplash; synthetic fiber reinforcements are embedded at specifically calculated angles based on the internal diameter of the hose. By avoiding whiplash, the Avon Safety Hose reduces the risk of accidents and makes boom pumping operations much safer for any operator handling the hose.

QUICK TIP

  • Clean hose after each use with a sponge ball. No compressed air.
  • Keep hose away from solvents, fuels, oils, greases, volatile chemical mixtures, acids, disinfectants, and other organic liquids.
  • Avoid knocking, dragging, or compressing the hose. Don’t pull violently when twisted or knotted.
  • Use special hose supports for transport. If wood supports are used, don’t treat them with creosote or paint.
