Ce projet est g\u00e9r\u00e9 par Kiewit Infrastructure West et est coul\u00e9 par JLS Concrete Pumping (une division de Brundage Bone CP). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet comprend la r\u00e9habilitation d&#039;un barrage qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 1926 et devrait ajouter encore 100 ans \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e de vie du barrage. Des probl\u00e8mes structurels et des modifications techniques ont n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 l&#039;enl\u00e8vement et le remplacement de pr\u00e8s de 200 m\u00e8tres de b\u00e9ton en deux coul\u00e9es. L&#039;emplacement des travaux et la mise en place du b\u00e9ton ont n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 une planification minutieuse. La premi\u00e8re coul\u00e9e devait se faire pr\u00e8s du barrage, mais on a d\u00e9couvert que le sol \u00e9tait min\u00e9 et ne pouvait pas supporter la pompe. Cela signifiait que la pompe devait \u00eatre recul\u00e9e \u00e0 plus de 700 pieds de l&#039;emplacement initial et n\u00e9cessitait un total de 1 180 pieds de pipeline Con Forms \u00bc de mur avec une d\u00e9nivellation de 145 pieds pour une coul\u00e9e de seulement 40 m\u00e8tres. Cela a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 une planification minutieuse car le pipeline lui-m\u00eame contenait plus de 5 m\u00e8tres lorsqu&#039;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rempli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La deuxi\u00e8me partie \u00e9tait encore plus dramatique. Bien que la route ait \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9e en \u00e9liminant un syst\u00e8me de 700 pieds, elle comprenait maintenant 320 pieds de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 pour un total de 580 pieds de syst\u00e8me pour un pauvre de 140 m\u00e8tres. Un syst\u00e8me de tuyaux circulaires a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pr\u00e8s du fond pour ralentir le b\u00e9ton et emp\u00eacher le b\u00e9ton de s&#039;\u00e9couler et de provoquer un blocage potentiel du syst\u00e8me. Con Forms donne confiance aux pompes sur des projets plus complexes.
