Con Forms a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 la ressource d'ing\u00e9nierie par excellence pour les pompistes et les entrepreneurs lorsque les travaux n\u00e9cessitent des efforts et une planification suppl\u00e9mentaires pour la mise en place du b\u00e9ton. C'est un bel exemple r\u00e9cent.<\/p>\n\n

San Francisco semble \u00eatre un bon endroit pour construire l'un des plus hauts b\u00e2timents \u00e0 l'ouest du Mississippi et ses d\u00e9veloppeurs voulaient faire une grande d\u00e9claration sur l'avenir. Le b\u00e2timent, qui finira par s'\u00e9lever \u00e0 1070 pieds de haut, repose sur une fondation en b\u00e9ton faite de plus de 21 200 verges cubes de b\u00e9ton plac\u00e9. Plus de 6 millions de livres d'acier et 1400 charges de b\u00e9ton ont \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour construire la fondation de 14' d'\u00e9paisseur. Ce qui en fait la plus grande coul\u00e9e de b\u00e9ton de l'histoire de San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n

Conco, l'entrepreneur en b\u00e9ton du projet, a contact\u00e9 Con Forms pour l'aider \u00e0 placer le b\u00e9ton. Con Forms a pu r\u00e9pondre aux exigences de l'espace, ainsi qu'aux exigences des ouvriers de l'acier travaillant aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des \u00e9quipes de b\u00e9ton. Le probl\u00e8me \u00e9tait que sur la base des ouvriers de l'acier et de la conception du b\u00e2timent, l'acc\u00e8s par le haut n'\u00e9tait pas possible. Ce d\u00e9tail n\u00e9cessitait un design compact mais enti\u00e8rement fonctionnel.<\/p>\n\n

La solution<\/h3>\n\n

Con Forms engineered solution that allowed for elevated platforms to be used with a modified and re-designed Krete-Placer\u00ae, a piece of equipment that allows concrete to be placed exactly where needed in just about any environment. This satisfied the requirement that other people could work on the floor at the same time as the pouring. The placers, and there are two, were designed with the idea that 5\u201d pipe could be used from the ground up, reducing not only man hours in placing time when compared to dragging hose around, but also many man hours saved in clean out. Engineers designed the system with twin placers with 40\u2019 of reach each. The placers had to be self-contained and so they were designed with hydraulic pinion systems to save time by allowing for 2 man pouring team vs. the typical 3-4 person team with manual placers. The placers can rotate 360 degrees and are fed by two concrete pumps at ground level. The placers utilize conforms heat treated placing pipe and elbows to maximize the time on site that concrete can flow through the system before piping needs to be replaced.<\/p>\n\n
