Este proyecto es administrado por Kiewit Infrastructure West y JLS Concrete Pumping (una divisi\u00f3n de Brundage Bone CP) lo est\u00e1 vertiendo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este proyecto incluye la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de una represa que fue construida en 1926 y se espera que agregue otros 100 a\u00f1os a la vida de la represa. Hubo problemas estructurales y cambios de ingenier\u00eda que requirieron la remoci\u00f3n y reemplazo de casi 200 yardas de concreto en dos vaciados. La ubicaci\u00f3n del trabajo y la colocaci\u00f3n del concreto requirieron una cuidadosa planificaci\u00f3n. Se supon\u00eda que el primer vertido se realizar\u00eda cerca de la presa, pero se descubri\u00f3 que el suelo estaba socavado y no pod\u00eda soportar la bomba. Esto requiri\u00f3 una planificaci\u00f3n cuidadosa ya que la tuber\u00eda en s\u00ed conten\u00eda m\u00e1s de 5 yardas cuando se llen\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La segunda parte fue a\u00fan m\u00e1s dram\u00e1tica. Aunque la carretera ahora se repar\u00f3 eliminando un sistema de 700 pies, ahora inclu\u00eda 320 pies de ca\u00edda de elevaci\u00f3n para un total de 580 pies de sistema para un pobre de 140 yardas. Se us\u00f3 un sistema de tuber\u00edas circulares cerca del fondo para reducir la velocidad del concreto y evitar que se drene y provoque un posible bloqueo del sistema.
