PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: LONG CREEK (MO) BRIDGE DECK POUR

Con Forms is proud to partner with the Pump Parts LLC team in the manufacturing and delivery of 800’ of 5 inch laydown piping, couplings and hose used by American Bridge in their recent Long Creek Bridge project located in Ridgedale, MO.

Approximately 80 5″ snap couplings were used to connect the laydown system from the pump to point of placement. The Con Forms’ forged snap coupling was chosen; it is strong enough to handle working pressure up to 150 bar while offering quick connections on the job site.

Along with AAA Concrete Pumping of Republic, MO, American Bridge was able to successfully pour 400 cubic yards in just a few hours. Bridge deck mix design are some of the harshest mixes produced by ready mix companies; Con Forms’ 5”, 11 gauge Guardian pipe handled the abrasiveness with ease. Pump Parts LLC, owned by John Scammacca, is a 20-year veteran who started as a mechanic on concrete pump trucks and a long time Con Forms distributor.

He has recently opened a new stocking facility in Harrisonville, MO where he and his team support all local pumping companies and contractors.
